Session 44

Recap

The party explored Baba Yaga's home, and found some magical items. They travelled back to Tideholm Keep with Beet's spell, and found it taken over by Margaret at the instruction of Cerondic the Green. We kicked out Margaret and reestablished ourselves in the castle.

- Is the crystal that fell from the sky part of the destroyed city Grezlin Geode? - research that? - something in Session 28 about this - apparently stolen by Ogamock

Ivy tries to revive Gilbert

true resurrection might work - need a cleric (Beet put up a banner advertising for a cleric on the castle)
she preserves him in a herbal fluid - maintains condition if resurrection takes a long time

Fin checks on Suffer and Goose

Ellywick's hobbit helper Joleon looked after them
also saw Penelope - Ellywick's horse

Fin sent letters:

To Yessis Fullmoon - she is alive and well, and Madame Diamond is ready to design again
To family - saying they hadn't seemed concerned with her long absence, and they clearly don't care much about her (TORE UP AND DIDN'T SEND)
To family - heard family had a baby, and that she is excited about this news (SENT)

Ellywick goes to a meetup of her group of bards (Law strand?) at The Burnt Root

Ellywick manages to resist a charm person spell from Parma Violet.

Ellywick stands to announce herself before naming who she is

asks if they've seen any Ellywick clones
apparently 58 redheaded Gnomes were killed!! - about a year ago
she described Podric's appearance to see if he's been seen
Parma Violet will get records of Gnomes from the archives (across Pendayria)
- there was no proper law investigation into these deaths
- apparently these Gnome deaths appeared to be isolated incidents - half in Paulderburg, other half spread across South (eg Aldarfort) (Podric could have been headed to Laamuria - that's where we saw him last over the scrying mirror?)

Ivy asked Lady Shamrock Petulance to stoke the fires because Rosemary was cold

had a convo with Rosemary about going to school - she seems keenish, but really wants to go back to the cottage in Athelthorne

invited the party to come visit for Deepforge Night (sort of like Dwarven Christmas)

Fernetta Thatssabush said she needed 500 gold to revive Gilbert - Ivy borrowed money from the party (Ellywick keeping a beady eye on this)

Fin asked Ellywick to fire Fernetta Thatssabush for her

she seems silly and naive

Summary

Gilbert is revived, and Fin gets an employee for her new pub The Lucky Cow all in one fell swoop with the cleric Fernetta Thatssabush. Ellywick does some investigation into Podric - he may be in Sylroot, her home village, with an Ellywick clone (posing as her?). Fin writes to family and is invited home to Cliffkeep for Deepforge night next week. Beet is planning her 30th birthday for the end of the week.
